Important News Update



For Term 1 2020 we have our first lectures/ activities on the 2 March.

There will not be any sessions for 9 and 11 March because the Eight Hour Day public holiday falls on the 9th.
Also there will not be any lectures for Easter week Monday 13 April and Wednesday 15 April as usual.


Planned activities for 2020


Friday 13th - Botanical gardens 11 a.m. $15
We have arranged a morning tea at the gardens. Tea and scones for $15.

Thursday 26th - COMA (Collection of Medical Artefacts) 10 a.m. $20
This is a fairly new museum of medical equipment and memorabilia etc. It is fascinating.  We have arranged a 1 hour tour at 10 am sharp (late comers no entry) followed by morning tea for $20. Should there be too many wanting to go we will arrange another tour later in the year. The
address is 6, Elboden Street, South Hobart. We are requested to park in the street not in the staff car park.


Thursday 21st - “Behind the Scenes” tour of Government House, 10.30 am followed by morning tea $25
This tour is of parts not seen on their usual tours. It will not be suitable for those who are mobility challenged. Time and details will be advised later so check the notice board in room 6 from the beginning of May.
